A BIT ABOUT US

At Osprey we provide new build 2-5 seat hovercraft, used craft, maintenance services and marine innovation services.

Osprey 5 Hovercraft was designed by Paul McCollum and was the next generation of hovercraft from his very successful Osprey 3.

In early 2000 the company was purchased and the factory was relocated to Brighton, which had excellent access to the River Adur for demonstrations of the hovercraft to customers.

One of these customers was Eon Productions who produce the James Bond films, after a successful demonstration of the Osprey 5 to action unit film director Vic Armstrong by Captain Robert Trussler at the helm on the River Adur, the decision was made to use the hovercraft in the film Die another Day (see picture below). One of these models is on display at the hovercraft museum https://www.hovercraft-museum.org/collections/ which is well worth a visit.
